Company Statement April 2020
Candia Springs Adventure Park has been closely monitoring the situation surrounding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic and analyzing its dramatic impact on our business and surrounding community. Based on our assessment and future projections of economic uncertainty, we have come to the unfortunate decision to close and not re-open for the 2020 season. This was a very difficult choice, however, it is clear that this is the only correct course of action available. We are tremendously saddened by this announcement but want to provide our customers, staff, and community this information as soon as possible so alternative plans can be made.
At this difficult time, we ask for your continued support of our larger company and our sister parks, Alpine Adventures and Whale’s Tale Waterpark, today, and long into the future. Steve Coppin, our Director of Operations at Candia Springs, will be staying with the company and will be moving into the currently vacant Director of Operations position at Alpine Adventures. This change is immediate but he will remain available to help with customer concerns at Candia Springs.
For customers who have pre-purchased Candia Springs tickets or other forms of admission reservations for the 2020 operating season, we are happy to provide an immediate and complete refund. We are hopeful, however, that many of our customers will choose rather to simply move their purchase to one of our sister parks in Lincoln. Here you will be able to shift any water-related purchase to a like product with no additional charge to Whale’s Tale Waterpark www.WhalesTaleWaterpark.net. Similarly, guests will be able to shift any ropes or dry land-related product with no additional charge, to Alpine Adventures www.AlpineZipLine.com.
For customers who purchased tickets through a third party vendor, you will need to contact that party directly for service. We will work with those companies to provide a smooth refund process as possible. Alternatively, we are happy to apply with no additional charge current live tickets to Whale’s Tale Waterpark and/or Alpine Adventures and would be happy to assist in that process.
If you have received valid promotional tickets or credits for the 2020 operating season, you may apply them to a like activity at our other parks as listed above. No expired tickets will be honored.
We thank all customers for their pre-purchase and hope many of them will apply them to our sister parks. For all transfers to Alpine Adventures and Whale’s Tale, advance reservations will be required. Please contact us to discuss your options as we are happy to help and provide the solution that is best for you. We ask that customers contact us by emailing Steve Coppin [email protected] for prompt assistance.
It has been a pleasure to serve southern New Hampshire and we very much appreciate your support especially during these trying times. We would like to thank our loyal customers and staff, and hope to see many of you once this pandemic crisis passes at our parks in Lincoln, NH. Please remain safe and hopeful for a quick return to prosperity.
All the best,
The Candia Springs Crew
